Research Topic Creating stories from Online Video
Summary of Research In my research I am exploring the use of publicly available video clips for creative knowledge building.

I have designed, developed and tested Video Pathways social video environment that enables the creation of multi-path stories from online video clips. The concept of multi-path video is that users co-create multiple versions of a video by providing alternative and interchangeable scenes that form different paths through the entire video sequence.

Perspective taking is necessary in knowledge building activities but difficult to achieve in a video medium. My research aims to facilitate perspective taking in a social video environment by enabling new forms to co-create narrative online video.
