Participants wanted for arithmetic studies
The LSRI conducts research into the cognitive psychology of ‘number sense’ and arithmetic skills. We have experiments running throughout the autumn term and we need participants.
Experiments involve computer tasks, such as comparing groups of dots to see which is bigger, and paper tasks, such as geometry, reasoning, and maths knowledge. These are designed to show us characteristics of the internal ‘number sense’ system and how this relates to formal maths ability.
You do not need to be good at maths to take part!
All experiments provide an inconvenience allowance.
If you are interested in participating in LSRI experiments, you can sign up to our mailing list at www.lsri.nottingham.ac.uk/participate
